Mackin Educational Resources is a well-established, highly respected provider of PK-12 grade fiction and non-fiction books, located in the South Metro. Our Shipping department has immediate openings for seasonal help this Spring and Summer.

Responsibilities

• Assemble containers and crates, use proper packing methods to pack goods to be shipped, and attach packing slips
• Prepare shipping documents using various computer software
• Maintain safe working conditions and keep work areas clean
• May be required to operate pallet jack and related stockroom machinery

Requirements

• Ability to organize and pack materials along with checking documents for accuracy
• Ability to stand and walk throughout entire shift
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have the physical strength and stamina to lift and move goods repeatedly
• Ability to lift 30-50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
• Ability to cross train in other areas/departments as needed
• Previous FedEx and UPS experience a plus

Shifts & Scheduling (Seasonal)

• Regular Schedule Options: 3-4 days per week, Monday-Friday, 6 hours per day, shifts start at 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:00 AM
• Additional Availability Required: Must have open availability Monday - Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM; weekly schedule will fluctuate up to 40 hours depending on business needs.

Wages

• $17.00 per hour
