Program Description:

The program provides Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) core and non-core support in the areas of Cyber Security and Management to improve the Information Assurance (IA) posture of a National customer.

The contract's Core Capabilities are as follows:
IA Management, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) coordination and reporting, Risk Management Framework (RMF) application, IA compliance measurements and metrics, Assessment and Authorization (A&A), Vulnerability Management, and Cyber Defense support

Position Description:
The Cloud Information Systems Security Engineer provides support to the customer in the area of Cyber Security.

Daily Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Provide analytical and technical security recommendations to the customerIdentify projects security requirementsProvide security recommendations for systems using Cloud servicesParticipate in network design reviews and security testing for the customers networksCoordinate with system development teams to ensure network security standards are being followed and implemented correctlyIdentify additional security requirements, based on RMF or as the result of security issues that put the customers systems at riskReview and analyze new systems (hardware and software) and provide recommendations concerning their securityReview Security Requirements Traceability Matrixes (SRTMs), System Security Plans (SSPs), and other IA documentation for completeness

Required Qualifications:
Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with CI PolyAble to support customers core hours ; Mon Fri)

An Advanced Cyber Certification (DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III)Cloud CertificationDemonstrated experience providing security engineering to cloud capabilities and solutions in AWS, Azure, or other mainstream CSPExcellent communications skills Verbal and Non-VerbalDemonstrated expertise and experience in networking protocols and conceptsDemonstrated knowledge and experience in software-defined networking principles and technologiesDemonstrated experience providing security engineering support to capability migration from on-prem to cloudDemonstrated knowledge and experience in the NIST RMFDemonstrated expertise and experience in cybersecurity principlesDemonstrated experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systemsDesired Qualifications:
Demonstrated cloud architecting experience (e.g.

AWS Solutions Architect)Systems Engineering (configuration management, requirements management/writing, architecture, interfaces)Knowledgeable of customers infrastructureFamiliarity with customers IA processesBachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)Self-starter requiring limited direction and supervisionExperience briefing senior customer personnelAbility to organize and prioritize numerous customer requests in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentExperience with IA vulnerability testing and related network and system test tools (i.e.

retina, HBSS, EVSS, ACAS)Familiarity with Enterprise Cross Domain Solutions (ECDS)Experience supporting IC or DoD in the Cyber Security Domain
