    Overview The CPG Category Director leads, directs and manages the assigned product category portfolio and intersecting brands to deliver and/or exceed sales and profit targets.

    The d irector will provide strategic leadership for the categor y and drive innovation and will lead value chain management internal ly with cross functional teammates to maximize utility of assets and ensure consistent and sustainable profit delivery.

    This role will also manage and lead external partners to set strategy and develop and execute tactics. The director will have cross-channel responsibilities include Retail, Mass Merchandisers, Club, Alternate Channels, C-Stores and Vending.
    Responsibilities The duties and responsibilities of the CPG Category Director are outlined below and include but are not limited to the following:
    Lead the Category Business with full ownership
    Responsible for the f inancial business management of the category through thorough P&L analysis and key issue identification
    Lead the v alue chain management across functions
    Develop and identify c onsumer insight that will be the basis of driving profitable growth
    Develop annual and mid-term plan Business Strategy
    Develop and manage the portfolio of the category , including innovation and product development
    Develop n ew business strategy and product development related to the category
    Develop and manage all consumer c ommunicatio n
    Lead, coordinate and drive c ross functional teams
    Manage all a dministrative responsibilities
    Subordinate training and development
    Qualifications
    BA/BS degree, preferably in business management or marketing. MBA degree preferred.
    10+ years of category / brand management experience.
    5+ years of marketing personnel management experience.
    Demonstrated success in cross functional leadership and project management.
    Proven financial management skills.
    Established business strategy/development skill inclusive of product development and innovation.
    Demonstrated communication skills across a variety of communication methods and tools.
    Proven working knowledge of market research and demonstrated analytical skills.
    A relatable food experience and/or a demonstrated passion and/or knowledge of food preferable.
    Proven ability in the development of subordinates.
    Pay range is $170,000 to $190,000
