Rheumatology Specialists of Connecticut is a dedicated medical practice in Manchester, CT. We specialize in diagnosing and treating autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders, offering comprehensive care including in-office infusion therapy as a hospital alternative. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physician Assistant to become an integral part of our clinical family. You will practice with significant autonomy while enjoying the full support of our physician and clinical team, focusing on meaningful patient care without the typical corporate burnout.
*The Physician Assistant will join our providers to deliver exceptional, continuity-based rheumatology care. Key responsibilities include:*
* Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations and managing a panel of patients with complex rheumatologic conditions.
* Developing, implementing, and monitoring treatment plans in close collaboration with our physicians.
* Performing procedures such as joint aspirations and injections.
* Managing in-office infusion therapy, including patient assessment, orders, and monitoring.
* Providing insightful patient education on disease processes, medications, and self-management.
* Participating in phone triage and collaborating with our nursing team to ensure seamless care coordination.
* Ensuring accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
* Fostering a compassionate and supportive environment for patients and team members alike.

*We are looking for a PA who:*
* Holds an active Connecticut PA license and NCCPA certification.
* Possesses excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.

* Prior experience in rheumatology, immunology, or internal medicine is a plus, but we are dedicated to training the right compassionate individual.
