    Job Title: Patient Services Representative at Community Health Care

    • Community Health Care is a leading non-profit organization providing quality health care to underserved patients in Pierce County.
    • We offer comprehensive family practice care, including medical, dental, pharmacy, and behavioral health services in our seven clinics.
    • Join us in our mission to deliver the highest quality healthcare with compassionate and accessible service for all.
    • Now hiring Patient Services Representatives to provide exceptional customer service to patients, handle billing inquiries, and coordinate referrals to specialty care.

    Responsibilities:

    • Customer service support for patient accounts, including setting up payment plans and addressing billing questions.
    • Managing referrals to specialty care, radiology exams, dieticians, and community resources.
    • Adjusting copays and deductibles based on patient's sliding fee level and ensuring accurate billing information.
    • Reviewing sliding fee paperwork for completeness and accuracy in electronic health records systems.
    • Responding to billing inquiries from staff, vendors, and patients.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma plus 1 year of medical front office experience or relevant combination of education and experience.
