    JOB SUMMARY
    We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our group of companies.

    The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making.

    To be successful as a Senior Accountant, you should have a solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong financial analysis skills.

    An outstanding Senior Accountant should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Prepare and analyze financial statements.
    Provide insights into financial performance and variances.
    Conduct financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and trend analysis, to support strategic decision-making.
    Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations, including GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and tax regulations.
    Maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
    Coordinate and support external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
    Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting, accounting procedures, and systems.
    Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
    Participate in special projects as assigned, such as acquisitions and system implementations.
    Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.

    Required Qualifications:
    3+ Years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.
    Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
    Diligent approach to work, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.

    Education :
    Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required (CPA certification preferred)
