    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Execute various nursing duties within the scope of a Licensed Vocational / Practical Nurse, following state Board of Nursing guidelines
    • Assist in implementing educational plans for patients and families with specific health needs
    • Coordinate patient care under the guidance of providers and RNs
    • Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
    • Ensure a safe and confidential environment for patients and staff
    • Perform medical procedures, administer medications, and manage lab samples
    • Fulfill medication refill requests and IV therapy tasks if certified

    Required Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Valid State Vocational / Practical Nursing license
    • Current BLS certification
    • Proficiency in medical terminology and office procedures
    • Strong computer skills for electronic medical records
    • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with providers, staff, and patients
    • Compliance with health screening requirements and immunization protocols

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • IV certification
    • 2 years of medical setting experience
    • Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
    • Excellent communication skills and customer service abilities
