    This position is a full-time, salaried, on-site position in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, with occasional travel within the community.

We are looking for a motivated, positive, and compassionate Assistant RN Director to lead our Care Team in a positive, engaging way. This position requires an Authentic and Compassionate Leadership style where they will foster loyalty and engagement of our team through a coaching and leading perspective. They will create a safe and fun work environment that values the team by developing trust and modeling vulnerability as their leader. They are open to learning and growing personally and professionally, while making a positive difference in both the seniors and the care team's lives.

    We are a new business in the Eau Claire community providing daytime senior care, as well as specializing in seniors with dementia. We plan to open in July or August 2024, although this position will begin this month, in May. The Assistant RN Director is essential in creating and maintaining a fun, engaging and supportive environment for both the seniors and the Team. This position will work closely with the RN Director and there is room to grow within the company as we grow within the community.

    Rellim's mission is to motivate our seniors to engage in a more dynamic way of life, enhancing their sense of purpose and worth. Our objective is to bolster our seniors' overall health, diminish the frequency of doctor visits and hospital stays, and offer respite for their caregivers. Our ultimate goal is to empower seniors to maintain their independence so they can remain at home longer. We will do this by focusing our care plans on activities specific to each senior's needs, to get them up and moving, be mentally stimulating, and creating close relationships with other friends.

    Position Summary

    The Assistant RN Director assists with planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operations of senior care to ensure the highest degree of quality senior care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Rellim standards. They will instill a positive, encouraging presence in all aspects of their role.

    Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

    • Minimum of an ASN degree from an accredited school with management experience required
    • BSN degree from an accredited school with management experience preferred
    • Currently licensed & registered in Wisconsin. Must maintain an active RN license in good standing throughout employment.
    • One (1) year of management or director experience in geriatric care or related setting
    • CPR certification preferred

    Specific Job Requirements

    • Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate
    • Liaisons with patients, families, providers, and referral sources to adequately plan for senior care needs
    • Collect, analyze, and manage data
    • Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
    • Knowledgeable, understanding and implementation of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in senior day care; to include regulations and standards of DHS 105.14
    • Perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to patient rights, patient assessments, safety, and sanitation
    • Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
    • Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information regarding HIPPA compliance
    • Assist with creating, reviewing, and revising policy and procedures, training, manuals and other facility documents
    • Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Rellim's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory and other appropriate compliance trainings
    • Completes RN Foot Care training to provide foot care to seniors as needed
    • Complete training and perform AromaTouch therapy with therapeutic grade essential oils to train Team Members and perform on seniors as needed

    Essential Functions

    • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, establish benchmarks, and direct staff
    • Recruit, select, hire, train, evaluate, counsel, and supervise Team Members
    • Assign appropriate daily staffing and assist the Team Lead with configuring daily attendance and scheduling
    • Attend, lead and manage Leadership Team meetings
    • Assist the Team Lead with creating, managing, and leading daily activities
    • Direct cares provided by Team Members
    • Perform functions of Team Members as required
    • Effectively manage and operate within budget
    • Exhibit excellent customer service with a positive attitude towards members, potential members, family, Team Members, providers, and referral contacts
    • Assist in the evacuation of patients and perform drills
    • Assist with medication administration training and manage the medication process
    • Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
    • Be a good role model to Team Members and others, including being approachable and exhibit clear and concise communication skills
    • Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
    • Willing to perform personal and professional development activities with leadership team, as well as encourage Team Members to grow personally and professionally
    • Assist with Team Member review, performance improvement, development, and assessments
    • Requires sitting, standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, walking, reaching, and carrying items up to fifty pounds throughout the day.
    • Read, write, speak, and understand the English language

    Job Type: Full-time, salary position

    Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 per year with potential bonuses and incentives

    Healthcare setting:

    • Daytime Senior Care
    • Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
    • Some shifts will begin at 06:00 AM; some shifts will end at 6:00 PM

    Medical specialties:

    • Geriatrics- additionally, senior day care
    • Providing basic medical cares

    Schedule:

    • Day shift with occasionally extending into some evenings
    • Potential 1-2 retreat weekends per year for team building, providing personal and professional growth, as well as creating connections, building morale, and improving Team Members' well-being

    Experience:

    • Nurse Leadership: 1 year minimum required
    • Office Management utilizing Excel, Word required
    • Experience with QuickBooks preferred
    • RN Foot Care preferred or willing to complete training

    License/Certification:

    • RN- active in good standing
    • CPR- active
