Supply Planner - Terre Haute, United States - B&G Foods

Ready to be part of something special?Join our FamilyThis position plays an integral part in keeping the Terre Haute facility supplied with packaging and raw materials.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for ensuring that costs, quality, inventory, on time delivery, and vendor service meets business requirements and objectives.
Essential Duties:
Enter orders, ASNs and serve as first step receiving for all railcars in ERP system.
Manage and replenish silos.
Assist with Bill of Lading and order management.
Assist with invoice/receipt reconciliation for the AP department.
Assist with inventory reconciliation in PKMS.Scheduler of material trucks into transportation calendarProcess aid receivingGenerate miscellaneous reports.
Back up to deployment PlannerIdentify cost savings initiatives and actively engage in Continuous Improvement.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience:
2+ years of manufacturing experience, supply planning H.S. Diploma or EquivalentAbility to follow instructions and procedures precisely and consistentlyMaintain a positive attitudeMust have effective written and verbal communication skillsStrong computer skills (Word/Excel)
Software proficiency preferred (JDE, Atomic, PKMS)Minimum Qualifications - Education, Skills & Abilities:
Microsoft Word/Excel-PreferredJD Edwards, Atomic/PKMS-PreferredSkills and Abilities: Ability to participate in cross functional teamsDetail oriented, analytical and well organizedDrive for results, challenge of status quo and independent thinkerAbility to run reports, analyze details and determine proper FG inventory requirements based on available date
Organizational Relationships:
Production Planning, Inventory Control, External Inventory Control and External Production Planning. Current and future suppliers.
