    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to provide exceptional eye care services in a fast-paced, community-focused hospital environment. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to serve diverse patient populations, contribute to the growth of a newly established clinic, and expand your professional skills in a supportive setting.     Required Skills:
    • Valid Doctor of Optometry (OD) license and board certification
    • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an Optometrist
    • Proficiency in comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosis
    • Excellent communication skills, with bilingual Spanish proficiency preferred
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    Nice to Have Skills:
    • Experience working in FQHC clinics or hospital settings
    • Comfortable with drive-in service models
    • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
    • Ability to adapt to new clinic workflows rapidly
    Preferred Education and Experience:
    • Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
    • At least 2 years of direct patient care experience
    • Prior experience in a hospital or community health setting
    Other Requirements:
    • Ability to travel locally (client is not covering travel costs)
    • Availability to work Wednesdays and Fridays; additional hours may be available at other locations
    • Credentialing process may take 60-90 days
