    Summary

    :

    The Manager of Quality will be responsible for support of internal manufacturing operations, implementing and maintaining Voith process system in compliance with high standard procedures. In collaboration with the corporate Center of Excellence team you will review processes to determine where improvements can be made. You will lead a small team of quality expert ensuring successful management of quality objectives as well as monitoring safety and environment programs. You will lead the formulation and implementation of the Quality strategic plan, aligned with the operating unit priorities and with the Turbo's Global strategy. These responsibilities extend through three locations in the US: York (PA), Houston (TX) and Sacramento (CA).

    Responsibilities:

  • Essential duties and responsibilities include the maintenance of the ISO 1, support to the implementation of ISO and implementation and control of IATF standards along with the management of the product quality assurance.
  • Build strategic relationships with operations and supply chain team, key clients, and quality assurance through the vendors' network.
  • Analyze and interpret quality data, reporting the results of key indicators under the Quality & HSE management system.
  • Prepare, implement, and revise policies, procedures, and work instructions linked to the quality and safety assurance.
  • Support strategy engagements through all key projects and vendor selection, determining the type and methods of control exerted on vendors, monitoring, and verifying vendors product and systems.
  • Manage the disposition and control of nonconforming product.
  • Perform internal and supplier audits as well as post-audit follow-ups. Document inspections and issue reports.
  • Support and develop quality program training.
  • Requirements:

  • Experience implementing and maintaining IATF , ISO and ISO 1 standards.
  • 5 plus years of related experience. At least 1 year managing a team.
  • Background of Inspections and audits
  • Broad knowledge of industrial standards and processes (machining, welding, fabrication, foundry, forging, heat treat, assembly, measuring, metallurgy, electronics, gear grinding, ASTM, ISO, EN, & DIN Specifications)
  • Ability to read and explain American and European drawings with ISO 1 GD&T.
  • LEAN tools - value stream mapping, five S, mistake proofing
  • ASQ-CQE and or CQA certification is a plus
  • Innovative and pro-active problem solver.
  • Progressive strategy and business experience with a strong focus on qualitative and quantitative analyses.
