Project Engineer - Foreman

Job summary
The Project Engineer contributes to the improvement of relevant plant overhauls and capital projects within the company. Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines. Monitors project's budget, schedule, and work quality Performs field inspections by visiting job sites regularly and for extended periods. Regularly reports on project progress Assists in the development of plant project construction, start-up and maintenance procedures, and training requirements for newly installed systems Understands contract requirements and negotiation, building code requirements, construction inspection procedures, process area methods, and plant electrical requirements Coordinates construction inspection and testing activities Identifies deficiencies acts to rectify them Assists in the development of standard specifications for construction projects contract documents Assures that assigned contractors for projects conform to required health safety procedures practices Evaluates review third-party engineering conceptual designs quotations drawing for accuracy communicate deficiencies resolution company best interestAssists developing implementing training standard software packages use project management process Contributes feasibility studies Interacts both construction workers upper management Negotiates effectively commercial technical disputes Participates relevant professional associations Institute Electrical Electronics Engineers IEEE PCA American Concrete Institute ACI Additional duties assigned supervisorJob description
