Freight Broker

• Work from your home office booking freight and trucks.

Emphasis on ag commodities. Negotiable base salary plus commission. Lower base means higher commission, with the possibility of going on a "draw" and getting highest commission payout. No limit on income. Candidate who can bring business with him will be offered a signing bonus. Anywhere from none to extensive experience will be considered. Ideal candidate can bring business to the position.

A candidate with no experience would still have to have booked freight as a grain merchandiser or similar; need to have a basic understanding of freight lanes and transportation.

The open role we have currently is for someone to develop our west region carriers (where we are not particularly strong yet) and that person needs to be very entrepreneurial and have the ability to forge their own way in a new market.
