    Key Responsibilities

    1. Welcome members and guests by name, maintaining a confident and approachable appearance to foster rapport and create a welcoming atmosphere.
    2. Efficiently book reservations for all a la carte outlets and respond to inquiries in a timely manner, ensuring seamless communication with members and guests.
    3. Artfully suggest and describe available appetizers, entrees, desserts, beverages, and wines to members and guests, enhancing their overall dining experience.
    4. Maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with policies and procedures, guaranteeing a secure environment for all.
    5. Regularly inspect the dining room to ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safety standards are met.
    6. Complete pre-opening and closing cleaning tasks as required, adhering to high standards of sanitation and presentation.
    7. Provide assistance with table clearing and re-setting as needed, contributing to a well-organized and efficient service.
    8. Enforce established rules, regulations, and policies, promoting a culture of respect and adherence to club norms.
    9. Suggestively promote daily specials to members and guests, highlighting the value and quality of our offerings.
    10. Guarantee compliance with local, state, and club policies and procedures regarding the service of alcoholic beverages, ensuring responsible and enjoyable experiences for all.

    Requirements

    • Excellent communication, hospitable, and interpersonal skills, essential for building strong relationships with members and guests.
    • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability, necessary for success in this role.
    • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, accommodating the needs of our members and guests.
    • The capacity to frequently lift and carry up to 25lbs and occasionally lift and carry up to 35lbs, requiring physical stamina and dexterity.
    • The ability to remain on feet, standing and walking for prolonged periods, demanding energy and resilience.
    • A minimum of one year of prior customer service and/or hospitality experience, preferably in a country club setting, providing valuable context and insight.
