- Develops and manages an institutional grants strategy aligned with Crossroads Health's mission and program priorities, in collaboration with the Director of Development and senior leadership.
- Research, identify, and assess new funding opportunities from federal, state, county, and local government sources, as well as foundations and corporate funders.
- Maintain and oversee a comprehensive grants calendar, pipeline, and tracking systems to ensure timely submissions and reporting
- Collaborate with program/clinical leadership, finance, and development colleagues to gather narratives, outcomes data, budgets, and supporting documentation, and other requirements.
- Proactively grow Crossroads Health's institutional funding pipeline, with a particular emphasis on expanding philanthropic support while maintaining a strong base of public/government funding.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (nonprofit management, public administration, communications, English, public health, or related field)
- Three (3) years' progressive experience in grant writing, proposal development, and grant management.
- Demonstrated success securing and managing institutional funding, including public/government grant funding.
- Experience managing multiple grants simultaneously, including compliance, reporting, funder stewardship, and cross-functional coordination
- Experience or strong interest in health care, behavioral health, human services, and/or integrated health care settings.
- Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record (4 points or less), reliable transportation, and carry automobile insurance with minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 and property damage of $50,000.

Crossroads Health, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with facilities located in Mentor, Painesville, and Cleveland, serves Northeast Ohio communities with comprehensive behavioral and primary integrated healthcare, early childhood services, extended housing and recovery servicesno matter one's ability to pay. The Grants Manager leads and strengthens the organization's institutional funding strategy across public/government and private philanthropic sources. This is a new, capacity-building position within the Development Department and will play a critical role in supporting Crossroads Health's long-term sustainability and strategic growth under new executive leadership. This position manages the full lifecycle of grants and contracts, from prospect research, proposal and budget development, through award management, compliance, and reporting. This role serves as an internal project manager, coordinating closely with program/clinical leaders, finance, quality improvement, and other senior leadership to ensure accurate, competitive, and compliant submissions and funder stewardship.
