    Description
    Job Title: Specialty Software Engineer Lead
    Location:
    - 1st Preference: Strongsville/Cleveland/Columbus OH
    - 2nd Preference: Remaining Hubs - Pittsburgh, PA; Birmingham, Alabama; Dallas, TX; Phoenix, AZ

    Job Summary:
    Responsible for IT development, analysis, Information management (DBA), or QA involving specialized niche technology.

    Job Responsibilities:
    - Modify existing databases and management systems.
    - Coordinate database development within project teams.
    - Estimate project time and cost based on user needs.
    - Perform assigned duties.

    Skills:
    - Verbal and written communication, problem solving, and customer service.
    - Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues.
    - Knowledge of full software development lifecycle, XML, Java, and more.

    Education/Experience:
    High School Degree and Bachelors degree in computer science/software engineering or equivalent work experience. 8+ years of experience required.

    Initiatives/Projects:
    Supports Project Concerts, ongoing app enhancements, new developments, and more.

    Industry Background:
    Strong IT background with diverse industry experience.

    Team Dynamic:
    Works with Architect and PO, Agile team of 15.

    Roles and Responsibilities:
    - Coding development and unit testing.
    - Working on Hadoop technology stack and utilities.
    - Python for data engineering tasks.
    - Building consumer and producer apps.
    - Managing Kafka based java libraries.

    Must Have Technical Skills:
    1. Hadoop Big Data Engineer with PySpark, HQL, Python skills.
    2. Hadoop Platform utilities - Hive, Oozie, Yarn, Impala, HDFS, Hbase- Hue, Beeline
    3. Python and Shell Programming (PySpark) - Python 2.7, 3.0
    4. Data Streaming Platform - Kafka Confluent Model Implementation, PySpark
    5. Various data science libraries, Deep Learning, Time series Modelling
    6. CA7 Mainframe
