    Description

    Job Description & Skill Requirement:

    Duties and Responsibilities
    1. Perform laboratory testing activities in accordance with standard procedures, test requirements,
    and the ISO 17025 standard.
    2. Perform scheduled instrument verification checks and periodic facility maintenance
    3. Set up and operate complex laboratory equipment and instruments
    4. Identify and report nonconformities and abnormal testing conditions
    5. Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are upheld at all
    times
    6. Maintain a working knowledge of EH&S safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self
    and others are performed in a safe manner
    7. Maintain effective communication with laboratory and project teams
    8. Obtain fork truck training/license, scissor lift training/license, or refrigerant handling certifications
    9. Perform test unit setup according to lab procedures and test request requirements
    10. Create records of testing activities and document them according to laboratory procedures
    11. Improve laboratory activities on a continuous basis
    12. Implement corrective and preventative actions
    13. Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair test units and facilities
    Physical demands:
    The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by
    this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. While performing the
    duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel;
    reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and
    stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste or smell.

    Qualification:

  • 2 Year / Associate Degree
  • Fork truck training/license, Man lift training/license,
  • Universal card, R410a card
  • Leadership/mentorship experience
