    Respiratory Therapist / Nurse Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join our growing team at Lincare Holdings. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while working in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Setup, operate, and educate patients on home medical equipment, including ventilators, monitors, CPAP/BiPAP units, and other related devices.
    • Inspect, test, and adjust home medical equipment to ensure safe and efficient functioning.
    • Review prescription and patient information to assess condition and determine suitable treatment administration, compatible with physician orders.
    • Maintain patient records in compliance with accreditation standards.
    • Stay up-to-date with current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and relevant respiratory therapy concepts.
    • Participate in on-call rotations after hours and weekends as needed, with frequency determined by center size and available staff.
