    Description

    Top Skills:

    • ADP Smartcompliance/agency notice experience
    • Deadline driven with focus on accuracy & efficiency
    • Familiarity with employee tax set ups for multi state jurisdictions and LOCALs (this would be common working with states in PA, IN, OH, & MD)

    Duties and responsibilities include:


    • Participate in payroll tax activities using SAP and/or Workday and ADP/SmartCompliance.


    • Manage tax agency notices.


    • Process payroll tax payments accurately and on time


    • Process monthly and quarterly tax filings accurately and on time


    • Enter and maintain employee & company level tax data.


    • Review payroll tax data and documents for errors.


    • Process tax adjustments.


    • Resolve discrepancies.


    • Process W2s and W2Cs.


    • Participate in Year End activities


    • Participates in the development of payroll tax documentations (policies, processes, work instructions, job aids, etc) and updates document libraries


    • Process controls and reviews to completion


    • Work with Payroll Accountant and Finance to post tax accounting entries and resolve errors.


    • Solves payroll tax issues and takes new perspective on existing solutions


    • Help to provide payroll tax related information relating to government audits (i.e. IRS, state, etc.)

    Experiences


    • 3-5 years in multi-state Payroll Tax required.


    • Bachelor's degree (experience in lieu of OK)


    • Advanced computer skills using Excel, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office Suite


    • ADP SmartCompliance


    • Workday experience highly preferred
