The program diagnoses and treats over 1700 new cancer cases annually across the system and includes a comprehensive complement of other cancer specialists including hematology/oncology, gynecologic oncology, fellowship trained breast surgeon, general surgeons, advanced plastic surgery, urologists, thoracic surgery, interventional oncology, neurosurgeons, and palliative care.
Supportive services include nurse navigators, dietician, social worker, support groups. Aultman provides the most comprehensive, dedicated cancer care to the Stark County and surrounding areas.The program is accredited by the Commission on Cancer, National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, and the American College of Radiation Oncology.
Research and clinical trials are also a large part of the program with a nationally recognized clinical trials department offering both cooperative and pharmaceutical research studies with over 37 active clinical trials open.
Qualifications Established and new physicians and physicians are encouraged to apply. Board certification or eligibility in Oncology and Hematology is expected. Salary/compensation package will be commensurate with experience and performance-based outcomes.
