    Description

    Duties * Serves as a functional expert in reviewing requirements, identifying problems, gray areas, and specific issues, and conducting analyses to help determine technical and operational requirements.

    * Plans and conducts analyses of areas of projected work processes, operational practices, operational environments, and needs that will impact Department of Defense (DoD) systems that interface with the Department of the Army (DA).

    * Formulates, plans, implements, manages, tracks, and evaluates large-scale and extremely complex IT enterprise architecture projects and their associated requirements and risks.

    * Performs the full range of administrative and technical duties.

    * Interfaces logical sequence of task execution, information flows, and interfacing requirements to determine whether feasible advancements in Automatic Data Processing (ADP)technology should be incorporated.

    * Defines customer and stakeholder needs and constraints, to develop and manage technical requirements and achieve the appropriate balance among resources, schedule, and technical requirements.

    Specialized Experience:

    In order to qualify for this position your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-12/13 or equivalent) grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1.)


    Apply analytical processes to the planning, design, and implementation of new and improved information systems to meet business requirements of customer organizations.

    2.) Provide technical expertise to oversee the cybersecurity risk assessment process, review assurance documents to confirm levels of risk within acceptable limits 3) Assist in the management of system requirements to ensure application and integrity of program requirements and 4.) Utilize skills of current automation technology and cybersecurity practices. AND Applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below based on the grade level required of the position being filled: 1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.

    2) Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.

    3) Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.

    4) Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

    The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-03 or GS-12/13 equivalent.

The salary will range between 14 step 1 base salary, $99,200 to 14 step 10 based salary $181,216, or if the incumbent's salary current exceeds the GS-14, step 10 level the incumbent's salary will be put on a salary control point at the incumbents existing salary.
