Claims Professional to join our Latent & Environmental team in Schaumburg.

At Zurich, the Latent & Environmental Claims organization is dedicated to helping our customers resolve a wide array of existing and newly emerging claim exposures involving toxic tort and latent injuries, as well as class action litigation.

As a member of our Mass Litigation team, you will manage a claims caseload from assignment through resolution, with moderate direction from your team manager and Claims executives.

At this level, you will provide technical claims service on mostly litigated claims of moderate to high exposure and complexity under general liability, excess, and other coverages.

This requires significant policy interpretation and coverage analysis; negotiation and claim resolution; and management of all communications and reporting associated with the life of a claim.

Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Claims and/ or Litigation Management area. Juris Doctor and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims and/ or Litigation Management area.

Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree with 6 or more years of experience in the Claims and/ or Litigation Management area.

Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 6 or more years of experience in the Claims and/ or Litigation Management area.

High School Diploma Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Claims and/ or Litigation Management area. Microsoft Office experience
Experience handling Mass Litigation claims
Aptitude for collaborating in a team environment and building cross functional working relationships
Proactive claim handling approach and sharing of insights
