- Fabricate and assemble various plastic components by cutting, welding, and bending.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Collaborate closely with design engineers to translate concepts into functional products.
- Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Problem-solve and troubleshoot as needed to meet project specifications.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a solid background in welding PVC, polypropylene, and Teflon.
- Proficiency in hot air welding techniques.
- A robust mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and execute blueprints in collaboration with design engineers.
- Hands-on experience with various tools such as drills, routers, tape measures, and table saws.
- Willingness to travel domestically on occasion.
- Experience in cabinet making or carpentry will be considered an asset but the other requirements must still be met.
