Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible intern for a full-time 8-week summer internship. In this position, you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our talented professionals.

This position will be based on-site at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano, CA. This schedule for this internship is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.
Here's what you'll do:
- Gain understanding of Food Safety regulations and Quality Control standards
- Maintain and track records to ensure food safety practices are adhered to
- Support the QC team in inspecting products to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications
- Help collect, analyze, and interpret data related to food safety trends and incidents, identifying areas for improvement
- Accurately document quality checks and inspections, maintaining up-to-date records of findings and reports
- Identify, develop, and support continuous improvement opportunities
- Update and develop departmental SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Assist with WOW projects and identifying quick wins
- Provide general administrative support to the Food Safety and QC team
Qualifications
Here's what you'll bring to the table:
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Food Safety/Science, or related
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work autonomously
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
