- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical machine issues and make repairs in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
- Perform and document electrical and electronic equipment preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, installation, retro-fitting (updating) and/or removal.
- Perform all electrical practices and procedures to NFPA 70E current revision standards.
- Properly document and implement work orders to track machine issues and completed work.
- Responsible for training entry level technicians as required.
- Proficient in all safety and housekeeping requirements.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Minimum of one-year stable verifiable work history required.
- Demonstrated mechanical capability and a minimum of three-years' experience in a technical related field required. Technical certificate preferred.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Must possess strong mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and/or electrical knowledge and experience.
- Must possess basic math skills.
- Must have working knowledge of hand and small power tools.
- Must be a good listener and have the ability to receive instructions over two-way radios, and other communication devices.
- Must possess good communication skills to ensure that clear and concise information is communicated as required.
- Must be able to read and interpret equipment manuals, document and implement work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must be able to become certified on operating a forklift, scissor lift, snorkel lift and overhead crane.
