Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.
ProCare would like to bring on a Special Education Teacher for the schoolyear The school district we are working with is in an inclusive community. You would be working with a 6th-12th grade caseload full time. The district prefers somebody with school-based experience, but it is open to speaking to all in the Special Education field Please send me your resume to be considered for this position since interviews are being conducted right now

Job Details:

• Onsite near the Heber City, Utah area
• Start in August
• # students/sites and caseload information will be discussed more in depth with special services' director during interview

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
• Valid state(UT)teaching certification/license in Special Education.
• Prior experience working with students with special needs in inner city is preferred
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
