    Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Originator to join our Global Trade team, specializing in Trade Finance and Working Capital Solutions. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for originating and structuring innovative trade finance and working capital solutions, such as letters of credit, structured trade financing, supply chain financing, receivables financing, and contract monetization. You will engage with a diverse portfolio of clients, including corporations, financial institutions, commodity merchants, private capital funds, and insurance companies. By identifying, negotiating, and closing complex sales of global trade solutions, you will play a key role in driving our business development efforts.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Client Engagement: Take full ownership of a portfolio of clients, working collaboratively with partner bankers to enhance business development, provide client advisory services, and ensure alignment with client strategies.
    • Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify, qualify, and secure high-potential opportunities, maintaining a strong client focus in all interactions.
    • Complex Sales Origination: Lead the origination, negotiation, and closure of complex trade finance and cross-product solutions, including Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) and distribution strategies for strategic clients.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Develop and execute comprehensive client strategies alongside Coverage bankers and product/sector specialists, ensuring seamless service delivery throughout the trade finance process.
    • Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative team environment, proactively spearheading efforts to serve clients and address potential issues or process inefficiencies in alignment with the Risk and Control framework.
    • Market Intelligence: Maintain active communication with onshore and regional Global Trade partners, staying informed about market trends and product developments to enhance client offerings.
    • Strategic Contribution: Participate in product development, marketing initiatives, and other strategic projects to drive innovation within our trade finance solutions.
    • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to all global engagement and credit committee approval processes for your portfolio, maintaining the highest standards of compliance.

    The salary range for this position will be between $200, ,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
    Profil et compétences requises

    • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.

    • 8+ years of experience in structured finance, with a strong emphasis on Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, and Receivables Finance.

    • 10+ years of professional experience in banking is required.

    • Demonstrated success in selling complex trade finance products, with exceptional relationship-building and business development skills.

    • Experience collaborating with Credit, Tax, and Legal teams on intricate cross-product transactions, including capital relief transactions and distribution/ABS solutions.

    • Series 79 and 63 certifications are required.

    • Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, with excellent time management and organizational skills.

    • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with both external clients and internal stakeholders, understanding the factors influencing decision-making.
