    Position Overview:

    The Senior Biostatistician will play a crucial role in leading and supporting the design, management, and analysis of projects and clinical trials within the Center for Gerontology and Heath Care Research. This key position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to oversee project operations alongside Principal Investigators, providing essential study design, programming, and reporting support.

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or epidemiology is mandatory, along with a solid understanding of the US Healthcare System.

    Desired Skills:

    • 6 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience, is required.
    • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Key Competencies:

    • Advanced proficiency in SAS programming is essential.
    • Knowledge of R and SQL is highly beneficial, while familiarity with SPSS or Stata is a plus.
    • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel for data analysis.
    • Experience in analyzing large and complex data sets, particularly in healthcare.
    • Expertise in data management and analysis.
    • Effective communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Capability to work independently and exhibit sound judgement.
    • Leadership and supervision experience is advantageous.
