- Contact point for customers and suppliers regarding quality-related matters
- Enhance work procedures to achieve quality objectives and reduce waste
- Manage the Quality Management System and related records
- Support operations and engineering in establishing appropriate manufacturing processes
- Develop and update quality test procedures and documentation
- Maintain ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards through internal processes
- Review technical requirements for compliance with customer specifications
- Plan and implement customer requirements into internal documents
- Conduct internal and external quality audits
- Perform root cause analysis to address product and process quality issues
- Assist in creating PFMEAs, Control Plans, and PPAPs
- Provide training on new quality initiatives
- Monitor and respond to Key Performance Indicators
- Identify opportunities for enhancing customer satisfaction and improving product quality
- Participate in meetings to advocate for quality considerations in decision-making
- Define quality improvement parameters using statistical methods
- Prepare reports based on data analysis and make recommendations
- Ensure adherence to quality standards
- Occasional travel to meet customers and suppliers
- Bachelor's Degree in mechanical or materials engineering or equivalent
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer is a plus
- Familiarity with ISO standards
- 3-5 years' experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, and related fields
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office
- Technical acumen
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Statistical analysis proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Results-driven with focus on performance
- Desire to obtain Six Sigma Green Belt certification and ISO/IATF Auditor Qualification
- Office-based role with occasional time spent on production floors
- Frequent standing, walking, and manual tasks
- Visual acuity and ability to adjust focus
- Travel may be necessary for customer interactions
