Assists in all aspects of staff management, departmental management, and for creating a professional practice environment that focuses on safe, effective patient care as well as customer service. Organizes and coordinates pharmacy staff activities to meet the responsibilities of the department, including pharmacy related automation and software used in daily operations. Assists the Director of Pharmacy in enforcing the organization's policies and procedures for the receipt, storage, preparation, dispensing and disposal of pharmaceuticals. Additionally, responsible for carrying out the duties of the Director in their absence.
