NOV Fiber Glass Systems is actively recruiting for a
Regional Sales Manager
for the Permian Basin area in TX.
The successful candidate will be responsible for direct sales and business development for assigned accounts and will be stationed locally within the area.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve O&G business development objectives for the assigned region
Target new customers, new applications and follow on sales leads
Achieve O&G sales objectives for the assigned region
Initiate regional sales calls and training seminars with area distributors and representatives
Instruct distributors, contractors and customers concerning product applications
Communicate & coordinate with management and Regional Sales Manager counterparts with regard to cross-region project sales activity requirements
Visit customer facilities and/or construction jobsites to monitor project progress and customer satisfaction
Provide regional reporting regarding target projects & representative / distributor effectiveness.
Investigate product complaints and assist customers and distributors in finding satisfactory solutions to sales and service problems
Remain current in knowledge of competitive activities including product lines, pricing, services, market penetration. Report findings of such to management
Participate in trade shows
Assists in establishing a realistic sales quota for the assigned district; generates and maintains sales volume to meet or exceed established quota; prepares sales forecasts.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
5-10 years of relevant technical sales experience calling on customers.
Experience managing independent representatives and distributors
Bachelor's Degree (Engineering or Material Science or Industrial Technology or Business Administration or any equivalent University technical degree) is preferred
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Work may require evening and weekend work
Previous customer-facing experience
Candidate must be able to work independently in a home-based office.
Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills to include the ability to provide group presentations in a seminar environment.
Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Valid US driver's license and safe driving history
Overnight Travel required 25%
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Technical knowledge and / or experience with FRP composites and or Thermoplastic lined FRP composites used in Oil & Gas preferred
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
