Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Projects & Infrastructure Manager assists the Director of Emergency Management and Security by taking responsibility for managing the researching, designing, developing, coordinating, implementing, and maintaining of Campus Emergency Management activities and plans. They are primarily responsible for managing and overseeing campus projects associated with Public Safety and/or Emergency Management & Security, technical security infrastructure projects, any applicable employees, and making recommendations for safety & security improvements to the campus environment. They may also assist in the day-to-day operations of Environmental Health and Safety, when necessary, to mitigate problems that might lead to emergent situations that pose a threat to health and safety.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:
• Four years of experience with disaster planning, emergency response, and/or emergency management is preferred.
• Experience in oversight of security programs/initiatives/technology is preferred.
• Knowledge of Life Safety Code is preferred.
• Experience about EHS inspections and processes is preferred.
• Experience with Milestone (VMS) and Lenel OnGuard (SMS) is preferred.
Licensure & Certifications:
• Valid Drivers' License
• Ability to obtain HAZWOPER Certification within three (3) years of hire.
• Ability to obtain HSEEP Practitioner & Trainer Certification within five (5) years of hire.
• Ability to obtain a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) Certification within six (6) years of hire.
