From Abdomen, OB-GYN, Vascular and other areas of Sonography, no task is too small for our team Whether you are an expert Ultrasound Technologist or just beginning your career, we will work with you to develop and refine your skills.
Ultrasound Technologist Responsibilities:
Properly prepares patient for exam through accurate verification of patient history and reason for referral.
Thoroughly analyzes the information or previous test results to clarify the information requested by the ultrasound examination.
Confidently selects the suitable equipment to produce the best quality exam, i.e. which machine to use, as well as proper selection of transducer array and frequency.
Competently performs diagnostic quality exams with the ability to accurately image, label, measure, demonstrate normal/abnormal anatomy, and record data pertinent to the exam.
Diligently performs portable Sonography at bedside when required.Prepares test results for analysis in an organized and timely manner.
QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor's Degree or certificate from accredited Sonography program or graduate of a diagnostic medical Sonography program accredited by the AMA committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation RDMS Mandatory or eligible to sit for boards upon hire date.
