    2 Legal Counsel - Data Privacy and Marketing Compliance

    Overview:

    We are seeking a Legal Counsel specializing in Data Privacy and Marketing Compliance to join our dynamic legal team. As a crucial member, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company's practices adhere to all relevant data privacy laws and regulations, while also overseeing marketing strategies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and industry standards. This role requires a keen understanding of data privacy regulations, marketing practices, and a proactive approach to mitigating legal risks.

    3International Intellectual Property Legal Counsel

    Key Responsibilities:

    Brand Collaboration and Partnership Management:

    • Identify and pursue opportunities for brand collaborations and partnerships to enhance our company's intellectual property portfolio.
    • Negotiate and draft agreements with potential partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IP protection strategies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product development to leverage intellectual property assets effectively in brand partnerships.

    Intellectual Property Litigation Strategy:

    • Develop and implement strategies for IP litigation cases, including trademark disputes, copyright infringement, and patent litigation, both as plaintiff and defendant.
    • Manage external counsel and collaborate with them to effectively represent the company's interests in legal proceedings.
    • Conduct risk assessments and provide guidance to senior management on potential litigation outcomes and settlement negotiations.

    Trademark and Patent Portfolio Management:

    • Oversee the company's global trademark and patent portfolio, including registration, maintenance, and enforcement activities.
    • Monitor third-party use of intellectual property assets and take appropriate enforcement actions to protect our rights.
    • Stay abreast of developments in trademark and patent law globally and advise the organization on potential impacts and opportunities.

    IP Policy Development and Compliance:

    • Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with intellectual property laws and regulations.
    • Provide training and education to employees on intellectual property matters to foster a culture of IP awareness and protection within the organization.

    4Legal Assistant

    Overview:

    You will play a crucial role within the legal affairs team, supporting and assisting attorneys in handling international legal matters. You will need to possess a solid understanding of legal principles and excellent communication skills to help address various legal challenges and risks the company faces in its international business operations, particularly focusing on data compliance and privacy protection.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist attorneys in handling the company's international legal affairs, including but not limited to drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts, as well as organizing and filing legal documents.
    • Research and analyze international laws, regulations, treaties, and case law to provide legal advice and solutions to the company, with a specific emphasis on data compliance and privacy protection.
    • Collaborate closely with other departments within the company to address legal issues arising from multinational operations, and provide legal training and advice as needed, particularly regarding data compliance and privacy protection.
    • Assist in managing the company's intellectual property matters, including the registration, maintenance, and protection of patents, trademarks, and copyrights, while also ensuring compliance with data protection laws.
    • Handle international litigation and arbitration matters, assisting attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings and briefs, with a focus on safeguarding data compliance and privacy rights.

    Bonus:

    • Proficiency in other foreign languages is advantageous.
    • Bar admission is a plus.
