    The Commercial Superintendent will oversee Colorado and national construction of ground up and remodel projects valued at or above $20M.

    They are in charge of organizing, planning, and overseeing project tasks. They complete quality inspections and supervise all project members, including staff and sub-contractors. Our client is a top Colorado General Contractor that has been in business for longer than 70 years. They believe in building and maintaining relationships with their team, clients, and communities.
    The Commercial Superintendent will oversee the following:
    Acts as chief problem solver on all design issues where applicable
    Approves subcontractor agreements
    Assists the Project Manager with fiscal responsibilities and submittals.
    Is responsible for project schedule updates and management
    Demonstrates strong construction process and knowledge of building codes
    Is responsible for material delivery schedules and implementing change management
    Communicates with the Project Manager, other superintendents, subcontractors and field leaders to ensure project status and any changes are known to all involved parties
    Is responsible for job set-up, communication, safety compliance, record-keeping, QC and project closeout
    Participates in preconstruction meetings with subcontractors
    Chairs weekly subcontractor Foreman meetings
    Walks the jobsite at least once each day to ensure safety, quality, and job progress
    Is responsible for adherence to shop drawings and project documents
    Reviews shop drawings for conformance to contract and field conditions
    Is responsible for full implementation of company safety, risk management, environmental and stormwater programs
    Manages permits and inspections
    A successful Commercial Superintendent should have the following:
    ~6 years of ground up Commercial project experience
    ~ Proficient in CMiC, Bluebeam, MS Office, Primavera 6
    ~ Truck & housing provided
    Per diem for meals/ other expenses
    Relocation package may be provided
