Job Title: Part Time Bank Teller
Location: Lexington Main/ Lexington Branch
Reports to: Branch Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers and assist with their banking needs. Address inquiries and provide information on bank products and services.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other transactions. Ensure all cash handling and transaction procedures follow bank regulations.
- Cash Management: Count cash, balance the cash drawer at the end of the day, and ensure all discrepancies are promptly reported.
- Sales Support: Promote and upsell bank products and services, such as savings accounts, credit cards, and loans, based on customer needs.
- Compliance: Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering and fraud prevention guidelines.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure confidentiality of customer information.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints or refer complex issues to the appropriate department for further assistance.
- Security: Follow safety protocols to prevent fraud and ensure the security of the bank branch and customers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some employers may prefer a college degree).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work with confidential information.
- Banking and Cash handling experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of banking software and procedures is beneficial.
Working Conditions:
· Typically working in a bank branch environment, business professional appearance.
- May involve extended periods of standing
- Regular interaction with customers, often in high-paced environments.
- Work hours, depending on the bank's operating hours. Part-time 30 hours
