    The Transportation Manager supervises daily transportation activities and personnel to ensure functions are performed according to our standards and guidelines.

    You will work from Monday - Friday from 8 am to 8 pm with the ability to be flexible on work hours/shifts.

    Salary: $80, ,000/yr.

    Responsibilities:

    You will:

    • Manage all aspects of payroll Timecards
    • Update Drivers schedules in ADP
    • Creates and maintain driver Qualification files
    • Collect drivers lunch logs and enter times in payroll
    • Ensure compliance with the Department of Transportation, California Highway Patrol, and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
    • Enter Injury Reports in KPA
    • Manages Department of Transportation and California Highway Patrol audits
    • Interview potential candidates
    • Ensure safety compliance and drive safety excellence
    • Drive employee performance maintain average stop time
    • Adhere and enforce company policies
    • The position requires strong attention to detail and process skills
    • Manager yearly performance reviews
    • Establish delivery routes which are cost effective and compliant with Federal DOT guidelines, while still maintaining an acceptable level of customer service, quality, and satisfaction.
    • Utilize Roadnet application to ensure delivery costs are held to company expected run rates year over year.
    • Establish routing procedures and schedules which allow for the optimum use of personnel and equipment while keeping a strong emphasis on driver safety.
    • Perform Roadnet application routing maintenance daily to ensure all locations have accurate, timely, and up-to-date information. Standard Routes and Customer Delivery Requirements: Geo-Coding, delivery days, time windows, service time types, service time overrides, account types, meal beaks Route start times, pre/post trips, starting/ending depot, travel modes, color for mapping, assigned driver, equipment and DOT road checks
    • Plan maintenance of equipment with regards to costing, restrictions and capacities Perform and provide costing, off-days, maintenance, scorecard, customer and KPI reporting on scheduled intervals.
    • Perform recap of previous days actual routing results; make necessary changes/adjustments to the standard routes, if necessary.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with the drivers and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute changes, such as scheduling
    • Strong knowledge in a team environment
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:

    You have:

    • CDL License is required
    • Required Qualifications: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
    • Driver qualification file compliance
    • 2 to 3 years of distribution, logistics, transportation, or related work experience
    • Basic computer skills and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of RoadNet routing software a plus
    • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated organizational and process skills
    • Preferred Qualifications: Associates/2-year technical degree
