Correctional Psychiatrist Position at XYZ Correctional Facility

• Ongoing position (locums to perm also considered) Monday to Friday; 8am - 5pm

The XYZ Correctional Facility is currently looking for a Correctional Psychiatrist to join their team. The facility caters to a range of adult male offenders, from minimum to maximum security levels. As a Correctional Psychiatrist, your primary responsibilities will include medication management and leading the treatment team. Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record systems, specifically Centricity, is a plus.

• BC/BE, active license, DEA, CSR, and BLS certifications are required

The ideal candidate should possess the necessary licenses and certifications. Board certification and prior experience in correctional settings are preferred but not mandatory.

As part of the perks, lunch is provided for the staff. Since bringing outside food into the facility is not permitted, employees have the privilege of dining at the Officer's Dining Room. Alternatively, they can choose to enjoy their meals in their own cars.
