    Responsible for operating and testing infrared focal plane arrays and performing analysis on collected data

    Duties include:
    Operation of computer frame grabbers and test electronics
    Generation of test plans
    Troubleshooting electronic test boards and performing electronic design Work in a team environment to coordinate and direct test and systems related activities

    Much of Goleta is considered to be a quiet suburban community while Santa Barbara tends to attract most of the tourists and the area's residents
    Goleta is about 8 miles west of the city of Santa Barbara, along the coast (the coast runs east to west in this portion of southern California)
    Where can you drive to from Goleta? Goleta is 2 hours northwest of Los Angeles
    San Francisco is about 5 hours to the north of Goleta
    Las Vegas, NV is about 5 hours to the northeast

    Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelor's or above in physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering or related discipline.
    Lab experience
    Experience in a scripting software language This facility requires special access and therefore all candidates must be US Citizens
    The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

    The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees
    Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

    Pay Rate:
    The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $55,300 - $106,000

    PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year
    This position is incentive plan eligible.

    Pay Rate:
    The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $63,600 - $119,800
