This position is to work with our sister Company CALCULEX.

CALCULEX is a leader in developing state-of-the-art equipment for the acquisition, recording, routing, and processing of instrumentation quality data, often supporting developmental and operational testing of military and commercial airborne systems.

CALCULEX, Inc.

is seeking printed circuit board developers with the following education, experience, and skills:

EducationBSEE with digital circuits track, MSEE welcomedExperienceMinimum 3 years in circuit board developmentTechnical SkillsUnderstanding of high-speed signal integrity issuesDigital circuit power optimization for multiple output voltage designsFamiliar with clock distribution & high-speed memory circuitsKnowledge of schematic drawing and PCB layout viewing tools.

Complex problem solving and critical thinking skillsSolid troubleshooting and communication skillsBasic knowledge of IPC standards, issues, and constraintsExperience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)Technical TasksEvaluate and select components used in PCB circuit designManage schematic developers and generate schematicsSupport mechanical engineering development of PCB product packagingSupport & manage PCB route subcontractorsSupport prototype and 1st article PCB fabrication and assemblySupport & manage prototype and 1st article PCB initial power-up testingSupport system level 1st article multi

PCB circuit integration and testingGenerate and support generation of circuit design documentationSupport generation of marketing materials and user training documentationSupport user submitted circuit design problem resolutionCALCULEX is an aerospace systems, embedded firmware and PC software developer, and electronics manufacturer.

CALCULEX is located in Las Cruces, New Mexico, provides an employee benefits package including paid holiday and personal leave, company supported full coverage health insurance and 401K retirement, continuing education, and a 9/80 work week. Highly motivated, self-disciplined applicants may telecommute with occasional travel to Las Cruces (approximately 2 weeks per month). US citizenship required.
