You have both an early childhood license and an early childhood intervention specialist license from the Ohio Department of Education - or will be eligible for one by the start of the 24-25 school year.

In an ideal world:

You might have worked in a preschool or daycare or program that exposed you to children ages 3 to 5.
You enjoy getting being at eye-level with a young child.
Paperwork and compliance issues do not bother you.
Your friends comment on your extraordinary patience with young children.

This position is not for you if:

Interruptions make you crazy.
You do not think you will need to take a few tips from your coworkers.
You are looking for a job where you do the same thing every day.

Facts about Working with TCESC:

The salary schedule begins at $38,076 for a teacher with a bachelor's degree and no experience.
TCESC teachers work a 184- day contract.
TCESC pays 90 percent of a teacher's healthcare premium each month.
Teachers accrue paid sick leave and have three personal days per year.
TCESC pays for a $50,000 life insurance policy.
Funds are available for partial tuition reimbursement.
TCESC provides a mentor and a structured program for resident educators.
TCESC offers many professional development opportunities throughout the year.
