    The System Administrator/Task Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the Office of Military Commissions' IT infrastructure
    This position involves leadership and hands-on responsibilities within a dynamic and secure IT environment, requiring a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a clear understanding of the mission and operational requirements of the OMC

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and execute the maintenance, administration, and optimization of Microsoft Systems, including Active Directory, Group Policies, and scripting
    Ensure the security and efficiency of IT systems and infrastructure.

    • Lead tasks of similar size and scope, demonstrating an ability to manage projects, delegate tasks, and ensure timely completion of objectives.
    • Apply expertise in IT disciplines such as Windows Server/Windows 10 security configurations, Microsoft SCCM, PKI Infrastructure, VDI Infrastructure, and server virtualization technologies.
    • Ensure systems are maintained in compliance with DoD security standards, including managing PKI infrastructure and implementing security measures for data protection.
    • Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative environment
    Work closely with other IT groups, government personnel, and contractors to support and enhance IT capabilities.

    • Troubleshoot complex issues, providing expert advice and solutions to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of IT resources.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including SOPs, project plans, and reports
    Provide regular updates to government task monitors and stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and solutions.

    Skill Requirements:

    • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft System Administration in an enterprise environment including Microsoft Actve Directory, Group Policies, and Visual Basic Scripting
    • 4+ years of experience leading tasks of a similiar scope
    • 4+ years of experience witht he following IT disciplines: -Security configuration of Windows
    • Server/Windows 10 and/or Windows 11 Microsift SCCM or similiar technologies Maintaining PKI Infrastructure Implementing and managing VDI
    • Infrastructure -Server Virtualization Technologies
    • Preferred, 3-years experience with Vormetric data encryption solutions

    Required Certifications:
    One of the following DoD M baseline certifications:


    • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner CASP) Continuing Education (CE)
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
    * or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

    AND Required Computing Environment Certificationslisted below:

    • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

    AND one of the following:

    • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Core Infrastructure, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification 6 Required Security
