    Job description summary:

    Our organization is seeking a highly skilled material handler for our clutch shift assembly cells. This position is responsible for stocking purchased and manufacturing material to the assembly line and other stocking locations.

    Essential duties & responsibilities:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
    • Monitor material flow
    • Perform material replenishments to the assembly line and other stocking locations
    • Communicate potential shortages to the shop floor planner and assembly crew leader to minimize stock outages
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    • Must be able to secure and retain a forklift license
    Experience & skills:
    • Minimum of two years of experience in a Lean manufacturing environment preferred
    • Lean implementer certification preferred
    • Good mathematical aptitude
    • Competent with MS Excel and Word, and basic computer skills
    • Must be flexible to perform a variety of assignments and adapt to changing conditions
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
    • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
    • Able to make recommendations and effectively participate in the implementation of company policies and procedures
    • Ability to work well with others
