Description

SUPERVISOR, CRANE OPERATIONS (MAINTENANCE & SERVICE)RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and coordinate the planning, budgeting, scheduling, and scope of work enforcement for facilities crane operations and elevator services.
Have high regard for personal safety and safety of others while providing safety leadership and driving a culture of safety excellence.
Provide leadership, conduct annual performance reviews, and manage subordinate technicians.
Assure there is compliance with all Federal, State and local building codes as related to facilities crane operations.
Prioritize emergency response and ensure collaboration with security, health and safety, and other applicable support teams.
Consult with production engineering and facilities construction for required crane systems.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of experience in crane maintenance, repair, welding and fabrication of crane structures.
1+ years of experience as a lead or supervisor in crane maintenance and repair.
1+ years of experience maintaining elevator service contracts and commissioning.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
PMP, BOC Level I or Level II, or CFM/FMP certifications.
Bachelor's degree in facilities operations, or equivalent trade experience.
Experience with bridge and gantry cranes.
Ability to read, interpret and understand technical language in specifications, schematics and blueprints.
Ability to work in a manufacturing atmosphere safely and follow safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work in high-volume, fast paced environment.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Possess a strong work ethic and problem solving attitude.
Strong organizational and collaborative communication skills are essential.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
This is
not
a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Hawthorne, CA area.
Position occasionally requires the ability to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
Ability to work and remain focused in confined spaces and hazardous environments while wearing appropriate PPE.
Ability to stand, crawl, stoop, and push or lift up to 30 lbs unassisted.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
Supervisor, Crane Operations:
$105, $135,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

You may also accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation & will be eligible for 10 or more paid holidays per year.
