The key objective of this position is to ensure the transportation needs of our community and our future residents are met with forward thinking and thoughtful planning.

THIS POSITION MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR A HIRING INCENTIVE OF UP TO $4,000

SUMMARY

Incumbents manage and supervise the traffic engineering and transportation planning activities; perform work in planning, developing, programming, designing, and directing the transportation plan, transportation capital improvement projects, traffic engineering, and transportation programs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and five years of related experience in transportation that includes three years of progressively responsible management experience directly related to the area assigned; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed in the job description.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have at time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona Driver License.

State of Arizona Professional Civil Engineer License (PE) required or an equivalency through state reciprocity.


SELECTION PROCESS

Applicants whose education, training and experience most closely meet the needs of the position may be invited to participate in a selection process to include a panel interview.
