- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering, computer science or math field. Three or more years of test engineering related work experience can be substituted for education qualification.
- Fluency in one or more programming languages, preferably C, C++, or C#.
- Understanding of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, logic, sets and number systems.
- Capability to troubleshoot problems logically and systematically.
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers, computer operating systems, word processing and spreadsheet programs.
- Ability to work effectively with others in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to write professional correspondence and effectively communicate information to other employees in English.
- Previous avionics software test experience (DO-178).
- Previous automated test experience.
- Previous experience performing structural code coverage analysis.
- Previous software development experience including object-oriented designs.
- Previous experience with version control systems (e.g., git, subversion).

Description
Universal Avionics (UA) is seeking talented individuals to join our safety-critical avionics software test team. Come join our highly engaged and collaborative team of engineers who are leading the future of aviation to ensure easier management and safety & reliability of all phases of flight
As part of the software test team, the Software Verification Engineers work closely with other engineering teams to develop and execute requirements-based test procedures and scripts, perform code coverage analysis, and prepare test reports.
