    Practice Details

    Pulmonary & Critical Care of Atlanta's board-certified physicians provide the highest quality of care to metro Atlanta patients with pulmonary diseases and critical care needs. Because we are a Northside Network Provider, our physicians have access to advanced technologies through the . This, coupled with the individualized treatment plans our physicians provide, means that our patients receive the best care possible.

    Performs scheduling functions as designated by practice. Schedules surgeries, procedures and diagnostic testing. Requires general knowledge of specified surgical procedures, exam preparations, exam sequencing and other related functions.

    REQUIRED

    1. Demonstrated knowledge of Medical terminology
    2. One year previous medical related clerical experience
    3. Demonstrated organizational and communication/customer service skills
    4. Demonstrated knowledge and skill in utilization of computer application
    5. Demonstrated problem-solving skills
    6. Ability to type effectively
    7. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with individuals in all levels of responsibility.
    8. Ability to work independently.

    PREFERRED

    1. Previous experience in hospital/medical office scheduling environment.
    2. Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the use of a computerized scheduling system
    3. Prior experience in insurance precertification
    4. One (1) year secretarial experience at a healthcare organization.
