    About the Position

    LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Family Practice PA in California

    Our client in California is seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment beginning Apr 20, 2026. This role involves providing a mix of primary care visits to a diverse patient population, seeing an average of 14-18 patients daily, with shifts running from 8 AM to 5 PM.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population.
    • Manage an average of 14-18 patient visits per day.
    • Perform duties including physicals, preventative health, prenatal care, chronic disease management, and urgent care.
    • Address women's health, men's health, well baby care, and geriatric care.
    • Conduct diagnostic testing, basic lab services, blood draws, hearing and vision screenings, and immunizations.
    • Administer COVID-19 testing and vaccinations.
    • Provide podiatry services.
