Overview :The Princeton University Office of Communications seeks a Communications Project Specialist to play a pivotal role in
ensuring the effective, on-time, on-budget completion of projects.
Our projects span a range of campaigns and content types (design, digital, editorial, print, social, video, etc.) aimed at promoting the Universitys reputation by informing and inspiring its many audiences.
The Communications Project Specialist will work closely with our internal team as well as campus colleagues, external partners and vendors.
The Specialist will also support the overall project management portfolio through tasks such as updating content and setup of our account, refining processes, processing interdepartmental charges and creating reports.

Qualifications :
Essential Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Minimum of three years of experience as a project manager, preferably in a marketing, public relations or communications environment
Familiarity with a variety of project management methodologies, such as waterfall and agile
Experience developing project plans, including scope documents, project briefs, schedules and estimates for complex projects
Proficiency in coordinating and overseeing a variety of multifaceted projects simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Track record of adeptly navigating and thriving in diverse professional landscapes, showcasing exceptional interpersonal skills.
This includes a robust history of client service excellence, adept stakeholder management, and the ability to seamlessly collaborate and inspire others towards shared objectives, transcending differences in backgrounds and perspectives within the organization.
Strong organizational and time management skills, and excellent attention to detailProactive, with a sense of initiative and urgency and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Professional demeanor, and poise and focus in stressful situations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive or comparable office products
Must be willing to work occasional nights, weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
Degree, coursework or certification in project management, or equivalent knowledge of industry standards and best practices
