Insight Global is seeking a Project Engineer to join a federal client of ours in the Aiken, SC area. The individual will be granted a Q clearance (Q cleared or Top Secret cleared strongly preferred). This individual will work in a nuclear facility and comfortable with field walk-downs across large areas of land. Experience in the nuclear or chemical industry, professional engineering, and management experience is required. This role will involve managing engineering activities, assisting in established design, resource forecasts, scheduling and development of future projects. This position requires 40 hour work weeks in a format of 4/10s.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors in Engineering or registration as a Professional Engineer
12 years of design ecperience in the nuclear or process chemincal industry
5 years experience working in a nuclear industry/facility
Comfortable with field walk-downs (walking in construction sites, walking long-distances, climbing ladders or other relevant work)
Coordination with management, engineering, facility, ops and test personnel
US Citizen

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Q clearance or Top Secret clearance
5 years in DOE facility
Previous SRS Design Engineering experience
Working knowledge of SRNS design processes
